GHArenaBot

GH Arena offers a classic arena RPG combat gameplay: you develop your hero (an orc), improve his stats, equip weapons and armor, and participate in duels. The battles are turn-based with strategic elements, initially against bots (in Season 1, all opponents are AI for training and balancing purposes), and as the community grows, PvP duels between players are planned. You earn gold for victories; even defeats grant a small reward to ensure constant progression. The in-game economy is designed so that the gold you earn doesn’t go to waste: at the end of each season, the accumulated gold is exchanged for the project’s cryptocurrency – the $GH token. The exchange rate is not fixed; it depends on your activity and success – the higher your hero’s level and win rate, the more tokens you’ll get per unit of gold. This approach rewards active gameplay rather than just hoarding – the “quality” of your play directly affects your earnings. Earned tokens can be withdrawn to a TON wallet or spent in-game to speed up progress. For example, in the first season, the ability to link a TON wallet and buy gold with $GH tokens was introduced – allowing players to reinvest their tokens to develop their hero faster.

Play-to-earn mechanics: The developers call GH Arena’s model “play-to-airdrop”, as token rewards are distributed through seasonal airdrops. During the pre-season in summer 2024, anyone could try the game and start collecting gold; all progress and savings carried over into the main season, and pre-season participants received a bonus for early involvement. This motivated players to join early. A referral program added another income stream: GH Arena uses a two-level referral system that grants 100 gold for each invited friend and 10 gold for each friend-of-a-friend. Thus, social activity (inviting new players) increases your chances of earning more tokens. However, the game itself remains fair: while referrals help, the main rewards still go to those who actively battle. The concept of “by gamers, for gamers” is at the core of the project – meaning the top prizes go to regular active players. To support this, after Season 1, developers planned to rebalance the game, wipe suspicious gold reserves from bot users, and revise the referral system to prevent unfair advantages. Besides combat, PvE elements were introduced: such as daily quests (under the “Farm” section) and partner missions that reward players with gems – a special currency for purchasing rare items. This diversified gameplay and earning opportunities.

Social features and opportunities: GH Arena is not just about battles in a bot interface – it’s also a community. The game has an official chat for players to communicate, ask for advice, or share achievements. Core gameplay includes competitive and cooperative elements: for example, a clan system is planned – players can recruit friends and form clans to participate in tournaments and special events together. Tournaments and contests are also held, with winners receiving extra rewards. The referral system, as mentioned, makes the game inherently viral: many users share their @GHArenaBot links to earn more gold. As a result, by August 2024, GH Arena had over 20,000 users. In addition, the project released a limited collection of NFT tokens called Game Hunters Genesis NFT. NFT holders receive exclusive perks: daily bonuses (e.g., gems), access to a private community chat, participation in asynchronous PvP tournaments, extra lottery tickets, and even direct $GH airdrops. These NFTs were distributed via airdrop and pre-sale and later became available for trading on the Getgems marketplace. Thus, the most loyal players and early supporters gained bonuses to their game progress and profitability. Moreover, owning certain NFTs affects the gold-to-token exchange rate (as one of several factors) – making collectible tokens give a small advantage in reward conversion, encouraging deeper engagement with the Game Hunters ecosystem. Even simply holding $GH tokens in your wallet can bring benefits: for example, in Season 1, players with ≥1000 $GH received a better exchange rate. All of these social and economic features are designed to keep players engaged and build an active community around the game.

The $GH Token and its Economy: $GH is GH Arena’s internal token, issued on the TON blockchain (Jetton standard). The total supply is limited to 50 million tokens. Even before the main season launch, the game conducted an initial airdrop of $GH and NFTs to early subscribers – all promised tokens were delivered. Since mid-May 2024, $GH has been trading on the decentralized exchange STON.fi on the TON blockchain. This means that after Season 1 (which ended in late July), players could instantly exchange their $GH tokens for TON or other currencies via STON.fi and realize their profits. Thus, GH Arena established real value for in-game achievements. At the same time, the team encourages reinvesting tokens into the game – for example, to buy gold or items – to support the project’s economy. Token distribution is heavily focused on rewarding players: according to the developers, the main pool of $GH is allocated for gameplay rewards and is being distributed gradually to active participants (reflecting the “rewards for regular players” philosophy). The exact distribution figures are not fully disclosed, but a significant portion of the 50 million has already been reserved for farming seasons (for instance, in Season 1 alone, thousands of players received a substantial amount of $GH). In the future, $GH may be listed on centralized exchanges, but even now it’s fully functional within the TON ecosystem. For players, this means that whatever amount of tokens they earn, they can use them: withdraw to Tonkeeper/TON Wallet, convert to real money, or save them for the next season. Notably, GH Arena gives players a choice: instead of withdrawing, tokens can be carried over to the next season – with a reinvestment bonus. This mechanic incentivizes long-term involvement: keeping $GH within the ecosystem brings greater benefits over time. In conclusion, GH Arena is a successful example of a Telegram-based game with a TON-powered economy: the combination of exciting gameplay, a play-to-earn model, and social interaction has enabled the project to build a loyal community and a functioning revenue model through gaming activity.
